October Wellness Complex Classes

CMC Wellness Complex Enters Phase 2 July 6, 2020

We are excited to announce phase 2 of the reopening plan will begin Monday, July 6. This will include the reopening of the swimming pool and locker rooms.  In order to best protect everyone from the potential spread of COVID-19, the following guidelines and restrictions will be added [while phase 1 guidelines (below) are still active]:

  • Adjusted Facility Hours (subject to change) will be Monday – Friday from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Last check-in will be at 3:30 p.m. Closed Sunday.
  • Locker rooms will be available for pool users only.
  • Masks must be worn in all areas at all times with the exception of those who are inside the swimming pool. Members must supply their own mask.
  • Social distancing will be accomplished by use of one lap lane ONLY and a limited number of people in the pool area. (subject to change) Members will need to call (931) 707-8420 option 1 to secure a time slot. Members must call the business day prior to the day that they are requesting to use the pool.     
  • Members will enter the pool through the door at the front counter and exit the pool through the locker room. Showers will be available; however towels will not be provided.
  • Lockers will not be available. Personal belongings must be kept with member at all times.
  • Visits or workouts are limited to a maximum of 1 hour.
  • Towel service remains suspended. Members must bring their own towels.
  • All group fitness classes remain cancelled.
  • Members must bring their membership card to complete self-check-in at the front desk.
  • Staff and members must observe social distancing when moving around the facility.
  • Staff to conduct disinfecting of high-touch surfaces, equipment and locker rooms using disinfectant cleaning supplies according to CDC guidelines.

CMC Wellness Complex to Reopen with Phase 1 on May 18, 2020

As we gradually reopen services as recommended by the Tennessee Department of Health, we would like to take a moment to express our sincere thanks to you, our community, for the tremendous support you have shown as we navigate “uncharted waters” in response to COVID-19.

On April 28, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced guidance for gyms and exercise facilities on how to reopen safely. We are excited to announce that we will be reopening in a phased approach. We will open under Phase 1 on Monday, May 18 and continue until Governor Lee releases Phase 2. In order to comply with state and local governance, we will operate under a revised schedule and with several new policies in place, outlined below:

  • Those who are more vulnerable or at-risk for COVID-19 as identified by the CDC—including those who are over the age of 65 or those who have chronic medical conditions—take extra precaution or refrain from use of the facility during Phase 1 of reopening.
  • Upon arrival, you will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, and shortness of breath) as well as possible exposure to the virus. (Note: Persons with temperatures above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will not be permitted on premise.)
  • Masks must be worn. Members must supply their own mask to be worn along with social distancing to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19.
  • All members must bring their membership card in order to complete self-check-in at the front desk.
  • Staff and members must observe social distancing when moving around the facility.
  • Visits or workouts are limited to a maximum of 1 hour.
  • Members are required to clean equipment they come in contact with using disinfectant before and after each use. Disinfectant supplies will be provided.
  • Staff to conduct regular (i.e., every 2 hours) disinfecting of high-touch surfaces, equipment and common areas of the facility using disinfectant cleaning supplies according to CDC guidelines.
  • Members are to only use one piece of equipment at a time (i.e., no circuits or “super setting”)
  • Locker rooms, front lobby seating, coffee station, water fountains, swimming pool and pool area will be closed until further notice.
  • Gym bags are not permitted.
  • Towel service will be suspended until further notice.
  • All group fitness classes are cancelled until further notice.
  • Because of limited space and social distancing, only 25 members will be permitted into facility at a time on a first come, first serve basis. Therefore, no visitors (non-members) will be allowed unless they are with Wyndham.
  • Adjusted Facility Hours (subject to change) will be Monday – Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Sunday.

Membership

  • New memberships are on hold until further notice. (This does not apply to current members re-enrolling.)
  • Monthly due billing will restart in June. April and May invoices will not be billed.
  • Those who would not like to utilize the facility during this time can freeze their account by calling (931) 459-7641.

Monthly memberships and discounted military, health industry, and senior rates are available. We are ready to help you live life to its fullest through better health.
