Cumberland Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit is equipped with 12 monitored beds and has the capability of performing various procedures at bedside. The skilled medical staff includes a critical care specialist as well as highly qualified nursing staff. The unit also features a newly renovated visitor’s waiting room and the patient ICU rooms are on track to complete renovation in 2018.
Patients in intensive care areas are very ill and have an increased need for rest; therefore, we have restricted visitation hours. We ask visitors to step out of the unit daily from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted. Please be sure to always wash your hands upon entering and leaving the room.
Daytime: 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
(no more than two visitors per patient)
Overnight: 9:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
(one visitor per patient)
