Patients are admitted to the medical center with a variety of illnesses, some of which may be infectious or communicable. Precautionary measures are used to prevent the spread of infection to protect our patients, visitors, and staff. If your condition requires any special precautionary measures, please be assured that your medical care will not be compromised. Your nurse will instruct you regarding special requirements for visitors, personal items, or other restrictions. An infection control specialist is also available to answer any questions you may have.
