Dr. Shah to Present The Basics of Interventional Cardiology

Join Umang Shah, MD with Cumberland Medical Center at the Fairfield Glade Conference Center for The Basics of Interventional Cardiology on Thursday, October 13, at 2 p.m. 

Dr. Shah practices in Crossville at Cardiology Associates of East Tennessee and is a member of the medical staff at Cumberland Medical Center. His clinical interests include coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, radial vascular access, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.

According to the American Heart Association, heart disease accounts for one in seven deaths in the United States. 

“When it comes to heart health, it’s important to learn all that’s available to you,” said Dr. Shah. “As a general and interventional cardiologist, I want my patients to know they can receive top-quality care, close to home.”  

Dr. Shah received his medical degree from M. P. Shah Medical College and completed his internal medicine residency at University of Tennessee Medical Center. He received fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at University of Tennessee Medical Center and interventional cardiology at Hackensack University Medical Center.
