Cumberland Medical Center’s Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) Support Group welcomes those who are affected by sleep disorders to its upcoming session on Thursday, June 15 at 6 p.m.
Jim Eddins, RRT, Director of Business Development at Breathe Easy Respiratory Solutions, will be the guest speaker. This meeting is open to the public and is free of charge.
Cumberland Medical Center’s Sleep Disorder Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and helps with the diagnosis and treatment of various sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, which affects one’s overall health. In addition to daytime sleepiness and fatigue, certain disorders may cause high blood pressure and serious heart problems. Sufferers often experience more illness, more accidents, reduced job performance, and strained relationships.
The CPAP Support Group welcomes patients and their families, who are affected with sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, to attend. Refreshments will be served, and it will be held in the hospital’s Conference Center – Room C. The meeting is free; however space is limited.
Reservations to attend are requested and can be made by calling Cyndy Whitson, Support Group Coordinator, at (931) 459-7249.
