Cumberland Medical Center’s Surgery Department consists of six major operating rooms, one cystoscopy room, and one minor operating room. Surgical interventions are performed on an inpatient and outpatient basis with the majority of patients admitted through the Same Day Surgery Unit.

General surgery, including major and minor abdominal surgery, orthopedic surgery, ophthalmic surgery, gynecological surgery, ENT surgery, vascular and thoracic surgery, and pacemaker implants are performed in the major operating rooms. Urological procedures are primarily performed in the Cystoscopy Room. The minor operating room is primarily utilized for procedures performed mainly on an outpatient basis.
