AUXILIARY DONATE $100,000 STATE-OF-THE-ART ULTRASOUND EQUIPMENT

Cumberland Medical Center would like to thank its 156 member auxiliary for its ongoing support. The unrestricted donation of $100,000 enabled the hospital to purchase state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment for the medical imaging department. The Auxiliary has provided several contributions this year along with 24,624 hours of dedicated volunteer service.

Auxiliary immediate past president, Lou Tuck said, “ it has been a privilege to be a part of this board for so many years. The volunteers are very proud of our hospital and pleased that we could donate monetarily in addition to giving of our time and talents. Our volunteers make a difference in the lives of our patients and it is our pleasure to serve our community in this capacity.”
