| LORRY WYATT NAMED CARE AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR FOR 2009 – 2010
Cumberland Medical Center’s Guest Relations Committee recently recognized its 11 CARE ambassadors of the month at its annual CARE Ambassador Luncheon and named the CMC CARE Ambassador of the Year for 2010, Lorry Wyatt, Team Leader from its Sterile Processing and Distribution Department.
CMC’s CARE Ambassador Program focuses on the aspects of CARE: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. This program recognizes employees who have gone above and beyond the normal scope of their job duties for the betterment of Cumberland Medical Center’s patients and their families. Employees are nominated by patients, family members, other employees, or visitors. The Guest Relations Committee then evaluates each nomination and a CARE ambassador of the month is selected. In July of each year, a CARE Ambassador of the Year is selected from the ambassadors who have been selected from July of the previous year to June of the current year.
