CUMBERLAND MEDICAL CENTER OFFERS NEW SUPPORT GROUP

Cumberland Medical Center is organizing a CPAP (Continuous Positive Air Pressure) users group for people with sleep apnea. The group has been formed to help those who are dealing with sleep disorders and similar problems associated with sleep apnea.  This meeting focuses on patient education and mutual support.

“This support group will give people the opportunity to share their experiences and to learn from others who have the same problems they do either using a CPAP machine or dealing with sleep apnea,” said Cyndy Whitson, Support Group Coordinator.

The CPAP Support Group Meeting will be help on Thursday, September 17, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. in the CMC Conference Center / Room C. This meeting is open to the public and is free.  The group plans to meet every three months and light refreshments will be served. Since space is limited, reservations are greatly appreciated.
