Cumberland Medical
Center is pleased to announce that Norma Tabor, CNT, Skilled Care
Nursing, has been chosen as CMC’s CARE
Ambassador for May, 2009. Norma has been an employee of Cumberland
Medical Center since April 10, 2006.
Cumberland Medical Center is
proud of each member of its staff and expects a high standard of
performance at all times. The
CARE Ambassador of the Month program is designed to spotlight the “exceptional” employee – one
who has surpassed the normal standard of excellence by a demonstration
of skills or an act above and beyond expectations.
Employees may
be nominated by co-workers, patients, visitors, or physicians. Each nomination is carefully evaluated by
a committee of hospital employees, and one employee is chosen each
month if worthy of the award. Honorable mention certificates
are also awarded to those who are nominated. Those nominated in
May were: Maggie Murphy, 3/A Nursing; David Rosser, Adult Pediatric
Nursing; Linda Davis, 5/C Nursing; Suzanne Turner, CMC Physician
Group; Elizabeth Howard, ICU/Telemetry; Stacy Swafford, Physical
Medicine; Kim Brown, Food Services; Jason Ayers, Adult Pediatric
Nursing; Rene Sweeten, Adult Pediatric Nursing; and Brenda Haston,

CARE represents the following principles: COURTESY,
ATTITUDE, RESPECT, and EXCELLENCE.
Congratulations to Norma Tabor,
CNT, Skilled Care Nursing, on her selection as the CARE Ambassador
of the Month for May, 2009.
