SARAH FOSTER, RN, NAMED CARE AMBASSADOR FOR APRIL, 2008

Cumberland Medical Center is pleased to announce that Sarah Foster, RN, with the Emergency Department has been chosen as CMC’s CARE Ambassador for April, 2008. Sarah Foster has worked at Cumberland Medical Center since November 27, 2006.

Cumberland Medical Center is proud of each member of its staff and expects a high standard of performance at all times. The CARE Ambassador of the Month program is designed to spotlight the “exceptional” employee – one who has surpassed the normal standard of excellence by a demonstration of skills or an act above and beyond expectations.

Employees may be nominated by co-workers, patients, visitors, or physicians. Each nomination is carefully evaluated by a committee of hospital employees, and one employee is chosen each month if worthy of the award. Honorable mention certificates are also awarded to those who are nominated.

Those employees nominated for CARE Ambassador for April were: Ivy Hall, LPN, 5D / Nursing; Brenda Abbott, LPN, CMC Physician Group; Vicki Aslinger, RN, Care Maps, Case Management; Terena Anders, Student Nurse Extern, 5C; and Nila Maynard, RN, 5D / Nursing.

CARE represents the following principles: COURTESY, ATTITUDE, RESPECT, and EXCELLENCE.

Congratulations to Sarah Foster on her selection as the CARE Ambassador of the Month for April.
