CUMBERLAND MEDICAL CENTER INVITES COMMUNITY TO ANNUAL HEALTH FAIR ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2007

Cumberland Medical Center’s Annual Community Health Fair has been set for Thursday, November 29, 2007, at the Cumberland County Community Complex.

Cumberland Medical Center is pleased to present this year’s event to the community from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on November 29, 2007.

“The community looks forward to this event each year. It is our privilege to offer people the opportunity to come out and visit with the health care providers and agencies of our area and to learn more about their services and what is available in the realm of local healthcare,” said Julie V. Thompson, Director of Marketing/Public Relations at Cumberland Medical Center and coordinator of the Health Fair.

There will be booths offering information on home health, wellness, home medical equipment services, insurance issues and much more. The Community Health Fair is for everyone, regardless of their age. Cumberland Medical Center is interested in promoting healthy lifestyles; the Health Fair is an excellent chance to educate the public on health issues and health care providers and agencies, Thompson said.

The 2007 Cumberland Medical Center Health Fair will be held at the Cumberland County Community Complex in the Adult Education Building on Thursday, November 29, 2007, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The community is invited to attend; there is no admission fee.
