ANNA WILSON NAMED CARE AMBASSADOR FOR AUGUST, 2007

Cumberland Medical Center is pleased to announce that Anna Wilson, Housekeeper, in the Environmental Services Department has been chosen as CMC’s CARE Ambassador for August, 2007.

Cumberland Medical Center is proud of each member of its staff and expects a high standard of performance at all times.  The CARE Ambassador of the Month program is designed to spotlight the “exceptional” employee – one who has surpassed the normal standard of excellence by a demonstration of skills or an act above and beyond expectations.

Employees may be nominated by co-workers, patients, visitors, or physicians.  Each nomination is carefully evaluated by a committee of hospital employees, and one employee is chosen each month if worthy of the award.  Honorable mention certificates are also awarded to those who are nominated.

CARE represents the following principles:  COURTESY, ATTITUDE, RESPECT, and EXCELLENCE.

The following employees were also nominated during August:  Julie Livesay, RN, Case Management; Ryan Richardson, LPTA, Physical Therapy; Waneta Roberts, LPTA, Physical Therapy; Angel Brewer, RN, Patient Education; Lillie Matthews, LPN, Labor and Delivery; Jennifer Jackson, OB Technician, Labor and Delivery; Carolyn Marsh, LPN, Labor and Delivery; and David Rosser, RN, Adult Pediatrics.

Congratulations to Anna Wilson, Housekeeper, on her selection as the CARE Ambassador of the Month for August.
