Cumberland Medical Center to Celebrate Nurses Week

Cumberland Medical Center is proud to recognize National Nurses Week which will be celebrated May 6 – 12, 2007.

Annually, National Nurses Week begins on May 6, the traditional National Nurses Day, and ends on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, founder of nursing as a modern profession.

This week was created to honor the nurses that give care to millions of patients each day of the year. We wish to honor the dedication, commitment, and tireless effort of our nursing staff as they provide quality work seven days a week, 365 days a year.
