CUMBERLAND MEDICAL CENTER WELCOMES MARIA V. STUBBS, M.D.

Cumberland Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Maria V. Stubbs to its active medical staff in August, 2006.  Dr. Stubb’s specialty area is Internal Medicine. 

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida with a major in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry, and then graduated from medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.  Dr. Stubb’s internship and residency were completed at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital with a specialization in Internal Medicine.  She has been in private practice in Florida for ten years.

She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and has held that certification since 1997.

Dr. Maria Stubbs is married and has two children.  She is fluent in Spanish, both spoken and written.  In her free time, she enjoys swimming.
