Celebrate Nurses’ Week – May 6 – 12, 2006

Cumberland Medical Center is proud to recognize National Nurses’ Week which will be celebrated May 6 – 12, 2006.

Annually, National Nurses’ Week begins on May 6th, the traditional National Nurses’ Day, and ends on May 12th, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, founder of nursing as a modern profession.

This week was created to honor the nurses that give care to millions of patients each day of the year. We wish to honor the dedication, commitment, and tireless effort of our nursing staff as they provide quality work seven days a week, 365 day a year.
