General Information
Most diagnostic studies are performed Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.
– 4 p.m. In most instances, the Cardiopulmonary Department
is able to schedule testing so that its testing times can be coordinated
with other departments in the hospital. This allows for patients
to have multiple diagnostic procedures done on the same day. This
provides patients with the most efficient use of their time and
provides an enhanced degree of continuity of care.
Referral Process
Physician referrals can be made during normal business hours by
telephoning the Cardiopulmonary Services Department. Urgent referrals
will be scheduled and completed as quickly as possible so that physicians
have the information they need to diagnose and treat their patients.
Reporting Process
Reports will be made available to referring physicians as quickly
as possible. Any questions about report availability should be directed
to either Cardiopulmonary Services or Medical Records.
